LEV System for Connection to Downdraft Vented Tables

This Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) system is designed to connect to the outlet of a vented downdraft table to provide the airflow and filtration required to extract and exhaust contaminated air, including airborne dust, fine particles, VOCs, chemical vapors and microorganisms. 

Flex Hose Connection of Vented Table to Unit Inlet

The HealthyAir Downdraft Table Exhaust Ventilation System provides a 3" dia. flex hose that connects the outlet duct of the vented table to the inlet port of the unit.  The nature of the flex hose enables the diameter of the end of the flex hose to be adjusted to increase or decrease, within a range of 2"-4", as needed to fit the outlet duct of various vented tables. 

There are several options for the length of flex hose provided, and custom lengths can be ordered upon request.

Flex Hose Connection of Unit Outlet to Exhaust Duct

The HealthyAir Downdraft Table Exhaust Ventilation System provides a 5" dia. exhaust outlet port for connection of the unit to the exhaust duct.

Depending on user preference and site considerations, there are several options for the exhaust duct material.  A local HVAC technician, plumber, general contractor or DIY enthusiast, may utilize galvanized sheet metal duct, PVC, aluminum flex duct or other flexible material for direct connection to the unit's outlet port and the exhaust line that vents out of the facility.

The option of utilizing our specialized Exhaust Duct Flex Hose as a transition for connection of the unit to the main exhaust duct is also available.  This component is provided as a separate item that can be added, and various lengths are available to choose from.

Outside Ventilation – IMC Ventilation Code Compliance

The components required to setup the unit for Outside Venting come with the unit, as outlined in the manual. When configured for Outside Ventilation, the system is designed to take in contaminated air though the extraction hose, filter contaminants, and discharge treated air out of the facility via an exhaust duct connection to the 5” dia. outlet port of the unit.

Recirculating Ventilation

This unit is also able to be operated as a Recirculating Ventilation system to provide air purification when connected to downdraft tables or similar work stations.

The approximate weight and base dimensions of the units are: 40 lbs. - 12”l x 14”w x 20”h

Operation

The HA-SCP-G6-LEV offer simple remote-control operation and is equipped with fan three-speeds.

Maintenance of the unit is simple and does not require the use of any tools.

Filter Model & Replacement

The Healthy Air Local Exhaust Ventilation System utilizes the HA-IFM-1111 Integrated Filter Module that consists of a Pre-Filter, eHEPA Filter, and Activated Carbon Filter.  Each unit comes with (1) pre-installed filter.

The recommend filter replacement cycle is 6 month on average.  However, the need for filter replacement naturally varies depending on the frequency and nature of use.
