Operation of Source Capture Air Purifier

HealthyAir Source Capture Systems are a specialized 3-in-1 air purifier engineered to eliminate 3 types of harmful airborne contaminants.

This unit is engineered for targeted source capture for one workstation, and is operated as a free-standing portable unit that can be located as need. 

Once the unit is set in the desired location, the hood (air inlet) of the extraction arm can be strategically positioned approximately 6”-12” from the work area, by adjusting the flexible hose, to capture contaminates from the emission source.

Although this unit is a source capture system, it effectively performs as a room air purifier that adds to overall hair salon ventilation when in use.

The HA-SSC-G5-PFH units offers simple remote-control operation and are equipped with a three-speed fan that enables control of air flow.

Maintenance of the unit is simple and does not require the use of any tools.

Filter Model & Replacement

The Healthy Air® Source Capture Fume Extractor utilizes the HA-SERIES-1213 replacement filter set. Each unit comes with pre-installed set of filters.

The recommend filter replacement cycle is 6 months on average. However, the need for filter replacement naturally varies depending on the frequency and nature of use.

When the unit has been in operation for 1,000-hours, the Filter Change indicator light, on the Control Panel, will begin to flash. This serves as a reminder to inspect and/or replace the filter.

The Filter Change Timer can be reset by following the reset protocol outlined in the manual.

Setup & "Installation"

This floor unit is designed for use as a portable or fixed unit, positioned in close proximity to the work station.

Initial setup of the unit for portable recirculating ventilation operation is simple and only requires connection of the extraction hose and caster wheels.  The caster wheels enable the unit to be easily moved as needed.

Setup takes approximately 20-30 mins after which the unit is ready to plug in and operate.
